This Lake Louise elopement was an absolute dream and such a wonderful display of Reid + Becca’s love for each other. Despite stunning details, the simplicity of the day kept their commitment to each other the focus. Becca spent the afternoon sipping champagne in her Chateau Lake Louise room and opening a series of thoughtful cards and gifts from Reid. She snuck a peek and grinned from the window as Mitchell and Reid left the hotel and began their walk to their first look location.

With family and the commissioner stuck in highway traffic, Reid + Becca were able to spend some quiet moments together before their ceremony. Words cannot describe the look on Reid’s face as he turned around and saw his bride for the first time (you will just have to look at the photos + film).

Their ceremony was short and oh so sweet. They were surrounded by a handful of immediate family and their two beautiful dogs in a little clearing overlooking Lake Louise. Their vows seriously tugged on our heartstrings, and when it came time to exchange rings, Becca was in for a little surprise. In addition to pulling his and her bands out of the bag, Reid pulled out a simple rose gold band that Becca evidently wasn’t expecting. In that moment there was no other option but to kiss mid-ceremony, and it was perfect. The rest of the evening was spent wandering around the lake, avoiding the crowds of tourists and celebrating their marriage.

We had such a wonderful time with Becca + Reid, and are forever grateful for the opportunity to be a part of their day. It was so refreshing for our creativity and the intimacy of the day truly kept their relationship at the core of the celebration. Not everyone can or wants to elope (it didn’t make sense for us, we understand), but if you are strongly considering it, let us know. We would love to explore and celebrate with you!

My fiacé and I have been discussing weddings plans, etc. with the family and we’ve started to think that eloping might just be the best choice for us. I’ve always loved scenery and breathtaking views and this is certainly is one of those. Wherever we elope, we certainly want to feel the presence of God. I live down south in the U.S. and I cant quite figure out the right people to reach out to in order to elope at this very location. I also love your work and we are very interested in using you if we go to this location. Can you give me information on how we would go about eloping here with only the two of us and both of our parents? Thanks, Christina Langston
